13 Going on 30 made the top 10 of one of Salon's most critical reviewers. Everybody smart I know who has seen it loved it. I can't bring myself to watch it though.
Mean Grils is dumb, in that it tries to have a message and fails, all while exploiting the [censored] out of the cast. However, I'm far too male to deny that watching it wasn't entertaining.

I would never watch one of these movies of my own choosing. I watched TTIHAY a few years ago with some girls and have to admit it not only did not suck, but it was really entertaining.
My baby sister asked me to buy her Mean Girls for Christmas and when I laughed she insisted that I watch it with her. It was awesome. Very entertaining movie.

Nobody mentions Alison Janney's character piece in 10 Things? IIRC, she was a guidance counselor. She was genius.
Also, Dids, I know you didn't talk smack about my man Larry Miller, did you? It's on now.

I love Miller as a stand up. I think he can be a good actor. I can only assume he was coked up when he worked in this movie, as his preformance is way below his standards.

Have you seen his routine about the various stages of drunkeness? I've seen it about a hundred times and I still laugh out loud.
