Make the client remember the last amount you bought in at a specific limit so that it comes up as default the next time you buy in.

- Change seat option
- Flop % seen displayed in lobby
- limited graphics option
- resizable windows
- keep the betting options in the same place to minimize miscklicks
- Fast software is a must! We all hate laggy/resource intensive software
- Multiple tables 4 minimum maybe even up to 8
- When you open a new tabel, it should open wherever you have the lobby on your desktop. I hate opening a table and it sticks it in the middle of the screen
- waiting list that does not remove your name from all the watining lists when you join another table

Thats all for now.
BTW...great idea for coming in here and gettin suggetions!

Oh and when you get a waiting list popup, make sure it doesn't overlap exactly with an existing popup so you don't click the wrong one.

I would like to thank you also for coming here for ideas, but I have to question your motives a bit.

As mentioned before, the fish you attract and keep at your site are going to make or brake you. As such, by catering to everyone here, who are argueably the best players on the internet, you are going to doom your site to failure.

The people here represent probably less than 10% of online players, yet they feel every site should cater to them. The worst thing you could do is make it easier for us to empty the pockets of your fish. Nobody here is going to play there anyway unless you can offer games as fishy as those on Party.

For what it's worth, the worst thing you could do is make your site Pokertracker compatible. That is an invitation to the tags here to come and clean your fish.

You did ask what we'de like to see, and you got those answers, just be careful which ones you implement because very few of these suggestions have the sites best interests in mind.

Wow. Thanks folks. I'm sitting here grinning like a fool, simply because our team has already seen most of the issues you folks are kindly sharing here. I've been nervous that we are over-complicating the site by trying to add features that other sites don't have, but now I see we're on the right track.

I will endevor to address each unique issue raised here with a post on the site. I like where your heads are at and no idea is too crazy. Like you, I play online and have been beating my head against the screen. I keep thinking, if a B&M casino had a dealer that misread your hand gestures in Blackjack and hit you with 20, you'd get up and walk away. But the lack of options on the net seem to have people reserved to playing around the troubles posted here. I simply don't understand the logic.

The post here about Pacific poker hot keys being active while your chatting is one of the more stunning instances of this I've ever read about. At a B&M casino, this would have been addressed after 2-3 similar instances, in my opinion. True, you can't make every single person happy, but that game design choice is one of the more hairbrained ones I've seen yet, and I have a list of them.

The site is in the midst of developement and it's our intention of course to make it as enjoyable of an experience as we can. I'm off to visit my new nephew (born today) and I'll attempt to pour into the comments once I'm back.

You folks blew me away with this many well-thought out posts. I can't wait to get into further discussions. =)

The best poker software I ever played on was on the PokerSpot website (now defunct).

Most important characteristics: Speed, non-cluttered visually, instant responsiveness.

In terms of responsiveness you pretty much want PokerStars-like speed, now.

In terms of visuals you want something like the original PokerSpot or a perhaps a modified UltimateBet type screen.

Forget the fancy stuff, just make something that works fast and smooth and is easy on the eyes. And offer your customers a choice of visual skins in various muted colors, and one in mostly black, but make almost all of them uncluttered.

Also, it can be annoying to have to wait for a hand to finish when you are not in it (at some sites) before being able to close that table AND take your cash balance to another table.

Make the lists quickly responsive and bug-free.

The faster the better for everything, really.

Greetings Lane,

1&2) For these, I'll ask for your kind patience on these until we launch. We recognize they're important and we'll of course be aiming to be competative with them.

3) Since 85% of the traffic is on Hold'em, we'll simply be building the basic 5 to start.

Ilikeaces,

Simple suggestion and one that's interesting to discuss. Players of any money games should feel rewarded for their play and this is a straighforward way of doing so. My hope would be that any player would feel rewarded from any time on our site, but how to do this consistently and with style is a fun problem to ponder.

Clutch,

1. Personally, I'm not a fan of the pokerchamps site, but that's my own view. There's merit in the multi-table window though.
2. That is of course the plan.
3. Buddy lists are a point of contention. What are they really used for? I want to know more about why folks use them, because I never have yet.
4. This is a database size issue. Good suggestion though.

Hi ImSoLuckyO,

Graphically, this is quite tricky. We played around with it, but we seemed to make more issues than it solved. =)
