Bernie, normally I would agree with you (on this situation and any other post about the ladies you make). However, this changes things a lot. I was very rebellious and very loyal when I was in highschool/undergrad. I've never cheated on anyone. However, if a girl told me not to skinny dip I would definitely skinny dip. It's just the way I was.

It's a matter of respecting a g/f or wife's wishes. If she doesn't like it, why do it just to show you can do it? I guess it depends on just how much you like her to make her feel that way. Skinnydipping wouldn't mean that much to me to put her through that. What's the point? To prove to her that you can do it? Not worth it, imo. I went through that 'testing to show I can do it regardless of what you say' with my parents. My g/f isn't in that category. If I have to prove stuff like this to her, I figure we wouldn't be together long. It's spiteful. Where does spite fit in a relationship?

If OPs g/f knows it will bother him, what's her big thing about doing it? Again, it's just skinnydipping. Is it really that important to her?

And yes, chicks are pervs. Even more so if alcohol is involved. Doesn't mean they all are or anything will definitely happen, but it opens another door to possibility. You can't claim suprise if something does happen given the element.

If she's going to do it, and you're only mildly annoyed by it and it will easily pass, don't worry about it. But since you posted it on a forum, I wonder just how much it bothers you?

Me? I wouldn't like it. I wouldn't do it unless my g/f was there. I wouldn't want to do it without her. But that's just me.

If they are breaking into a pool, they then KNOW they may be swimming, and should pack accordingly. Ergo, skinny-dipping is the goal, not breaking into the pool and there "may" be skinny dipping. This is like saying "We're going to the Chicken Ranch and we "may" get a hooker.



Skinny-dipping is a drunken-spur-of-the-moment thing you do with people you are curious about or interested in, period.

I used to go skinny dipping with my cousins all the time when I was like 7-12. There was a water hole, we wanted to feel like fishies, and we didn't care about seeing each others wee wees etc. maybe that's an innocence of youth thing, but its easy to skinny dip with friends or family and not have it be a sexual thing.

That said, I'm not ok with a girlfriend skinnying with some dudes I don't know.
