I think probably because if he lived like in Baton Rouge or somewhere he wouldn't have been able to see the dead guy from there. It would explain him sleeping through the excitement though.

To OP: Why do you suppose the guy woke up your female roommate instead of someone in some other apartmemnt? Is yours closest to the pool?

all: she was not naked, the clothes on the floor were the wet clothes she changed out of. I didn't arrive on the scene until the cops were there and they were allowed to change.

the guy tried a couple other apartments before ours, but we're pretty close to the pool.

to everyone: female roommate does not have sex. she is a virgin at 19.

when I say "naked" I mean fully naked. the puzzling thing was seeing her underwear on the floor.

she's pretty much a tomboy and is probably a lesbian. definitely has her hot days. B cup, big hips.

I live in Lafayette, Louisiana because I get paid money to go to college there.

Guys were probably college-aged since the apartments I live in are close to campus.

I've posted pic of said roommate before. here it is. she's on the right with the red backpack. girl on left is my sister.

Apparently there were two guys hanging out by the pool, they jumped the fence to get inside (closed after 9). neither of them could swim. one guy goes to get some things from his apt and comes back, the toher guy's in the pool struggling. he tries to get some people to help but no one answers, finally comes and gets my female roommate. she tries to get him but she has asthma and can't get too deep. so she gets the male roommate, who is able to get him but it was too late.

This makes no sense.

Dudes A and B jump a fence to get into the pool.

Dude B jumps the fence to go get "stuff" from his apt.

Dude A gets into the pool (apparently in the deep end) but can't swim.

Dude B jumps the fence (for the third time) and sees DD (Dead Dude) struggling in the water.

Dude B jumps the fence (again) to run and get help.

FR (female roommate) who can't swim and is reportedly naked, jumps the fence and tries to help. Dude B jumps the fence (for the 5th time) with FR.

FR jumps the fence to go get MR (male roommate).

Both FR and MR jump the fence to get back into the pool.

So, the story doesn't add up. Both FR and MR are suspects. If they were both sleeping, they would have both awoken and helped immediately. If FR was awake, she would have woken MR or you (or both) to help. If MR was awake, he would have just gone right away.

Who called 911?
Why didn't the sirens wake you up?
Who in their right mind locks a pool at 9:00pm during summer?
When you looked in the parking lot for cars, was there an ambulance or cop cars around?
This would be especially disturbing if you lived on a 2nd or 3rd floor.
Where are the naked FR pics?

There either was a 3rd party involved who split the scene, or Dude B is a liar who must be in pretty good shape. What with all the fence-jumping and whatnot.

I couldn't rule out involvement by either FR or MR at this point either. Lock your door dude.....

I agree entirely. This is extraordinarily fishy. Not to mention - when you hear someone's drowning, who on earth takes their clothes off *before* getting there?? You'd run to the pool, likely jump in clothed if you're a good swimmer, or maybe take off your shirt/pants (which you wouldn't be wearing, probably, because you were in bed and who sleeps in more than a t-shirt/boxers, which are basically swimtrunks, and you certainly wouldn't have on shoes or if you did you'd have them on without tying them because you'd rush to the pool). Also, if your friend was drowning/drowned wouldn't you start yelling and knocking on every door to wake up anyone who could help?

Most disturbing of all, however, is the lack of pics of the roommate. Is this her?

edit: post made by OP while writing this described clothes as those that she'd changed out of...I still think it's fishy, though, and I would hit it, even for cash.

Not trying to be insensitive but I never understood this drowning in a pool stuff. My parents made sure I knew how to swim at a very early age. Its not that hard. Drowning without some current pulling me out or under just blows my mind.
