I know what you're talking about and had that happen a couple times too.

but sometimes I only had 1 or 2 tables calling me and I was still locked out.

With so many tables out there it was quite frustrating that I could get seated at 7-8 tables after an hour of REALLY trying.
And that hour of really trying was very distracting to the games I was trying to play in.

Then you'd close the table and click the box that you weren't interested, but it would still be calling you.

Then, I tried to get on a 6-max table and joined a wait-list and wound up having 12 different tables calling me all at once which was quite annoying.

I simply was unable to get on the tables that I wanted to even when I was first on the wait-list.
Then I would go back to 7th or whatever, and it would go through more names of people who couldn't get seated, and hten I would get my chance at the seat-lottery again, and then get locked-out again.
I eventually gave up.

I got tired of 'WTF is with this software' tilt.

Anyone know how to check their status? You're supposed to email party when you've reached 25k, right? But the party points don't update till like 24 hours later.

I put in almost 9000 hands yesterday. We'll see what I can do today.

obsidian - what limits?

thwang99 - you e-mail them after it updates on your account page which is usually around 10am eastern I think.
If you absolutely KNOW that you more than enough points ahead of time then you can try e-mailing them before the points-page updates. For the cruise thing I did this but i don't think it made a difference.
They told me I still had to e-mail again AFTER it updated on the points-page.

X-post from STTF:

Ok well after deciding I was gonna get a seat no matter what I've completed the requirements. The tricky part was that I had stupidly blown all my party points before this promotion and had 2300 in my account at the beginning. This meant that I had to get 48k Party Points in order to complete it. I finished it this morning at 5:00am (30 hours after the contest started). Playing during Happy Hours made it much easier to reach the 50k total point threshold. I also had to start a few hours earlier just to accumulate more total points. I started at 8pm the night before and played straight until ~12pm the next day. Following a 5 hour nap I started playing again at 6pm and didn't stop until 11am (about an hour ago) Over the 39 hour period from the beginning, I played 34 hours, by far the most I've ever done. If Party Poker's sngs had been working like normal, it wouldn't have taken so freaking long. All it took was:
90 $530s
4 $430s
305 $215s
22 $109s

Amazing z32. I am about 16-17k hands into the 30k I think I need at 5/10 6-max limit. I am averaging 700 hands/hour 6-7 tabling. This is one of the hardest things I've ever done especially considering the rollarcoaster of swings I have been on
