Meh, best Elliot performance of the night, but still not way up there. On a scale of 1-10, I'd give his songs tonite a 5, 5, 7 or so.
Trouble is Kat's best was a 9, Taylor's best a 10. Kat's first song maybe a 5. Taylor's first maybe a 2 (as if that matters for him)

I'm hoping nobody convinces Katherine to sing the style she's clearly best at next week. If she's still trying to blow everyone away with an over the top performance in the finals, Taylor will have it locked up.

I thought they were both fine. Elliot probably gets some bump from Chris being gone (how many people voting for Chris are Taylor-haters?), plus he gets a bump from having his underdog status mentioned over and over.
It's funny how even though she smiles, Kat just can't hide that she's pissed when she gets criticism. I thought she was good.
