I think it has officially taken the Friends role in the women world of "we will disown you if we find out your not watching this show". It even gets better ratings then Desperate Housewives now.

Also, heterosexual men should probably not be watching this show. [/ QUOTE ] Yep. I'm worried dude. I watch it with my girlfriend and I find the homosexual in me just trying to get out. Because that's what happens when heterosexual men watch this show. /sarcasm |

If dudes (myself included) watched the show with their wife or GF hoping it would help them get laid, I'm betting the "entirely expected by every male but entirely unexpected by almost all females" ending last night had pretty much the opposite effect. Watching a dog get put to sleep and some hyper-romantic douchebag die at the finish line doesn't exactly get them in the mood. I hate the people who write this show.

This show is written by chicks for chicks. The showrunner is a woman. "Desperate Housewives" was created and is written by a homosexual male.

[/ QUOTE ] Stuff like this makes me thank god I'm not in a serious relationship. I've watched one episode (the one where the intern at another hospital hits the southern family). Just a brutal show, I think there was melodramatic music playing throughout the entire last half. |

onthebutton,
Some of us don't need the show for romantic reasons, but still watch it b/c she watches it. |

I watched one episode, nothing kept me in suspense, except I laughed at one [unintentionally] funny part where the doctor told a 12-year old girl that she had testicles. |

tdarko,
Was your wife/gf in the best mood after watching the dog get put down, or the dude die? Mine wasn't. I'll pretty much watch whatever mine wants to, but it doesn't make me very happy when it puts her in a bad mood. |

OTB,
She was crying, I still haven't seen the episode. I am many states away and was watching something else, but I got a little bit of the rundown from her...but yeah, not the best mood . |
