I've been playing some 50NL for the past week or two to get acquainted with how people in those games play

WOOT! One more fish in the SSNL sea to add to my Buddy List

Ed, in all seriousness, you are a welcome addition to the SSNL clan. I look forward to your future posts in this forum.

Would you share some thoughts on which concepts presented in your upcoming book with David are most applicable to SSNL? I realize you may not be able to do this until the book comes out, but I thought I'd plant the seed now.

This post cracks me up. Like the school kid talking to the principal (spelled with a "pal" on the end, because the principal is your pal )

My winrate has fallen through the floor! it's all your fault

Tis good to see such a noted poker authority around these parts - I hope that in the course of your research you find time to post in this forum and deliver the odd pearl of wisdom here and there.

Everyone has already said how bad this was, and I play preflop approximately like you say, and it would be possible for me to have any two pair, 7hxh, and if I had noticed you bet/folding alot before to agression on the flop as little as bottom pair (depending on my relative postion to you and what other people have done in this hand).

It's hard for me to imagine that anyone that reads or posts on these forums would play like this guy. Think he was down a little over $250 for the night (on the tables I was on with him)...
