i suck at poker...

+$950 in bodog blackjack in 12 minutes

jaybert-
When I was in college (ASU mid-80s), I worked with a small team of guys who counted cards and went up to Laughlin and Vegas. We didn't have much bankroll then so we didn't make much money, but it seemed like a lot to us then (a few thousand dollars over 6 months). I am banned from playing blackjack at Circus Circus for life. Not banned anywhere else.

haha...thats pretty cool. so kind of like the MIT blackjack team, except with a smaller bankroll? Do you think they would actually be able to recognize you if you went to circus circus w/ their face recognition software or whatever? willing to test it out for us?

I went ahead and uninstalled pokershare....decided $230 was enough to lose, seeing how I didnt even get to 1/5th of the hands I needed to clear the bonus. Oh well...+$700 for the day aint bad, + sold another set of mavs playoff tickets and purchased another set to sell later.

USPS may be bad beating me though...i bought red sox tickets for the game on Sunday against the orioles, and the guys shipped them out on Monday. He sent them Priority mail, and I still havent received them. Should of come in yesterday, today at the latest. If they dont show up tomorrow, I will have left for Boston and I'm SOL. $200 down the drain! This is my first time to play cash games in a few months, I've solely been playing tournaments...guess I should stick w/ that when I decide to play again

It only worked with single or double deck game. I'm sure they don't care if I show up now but it's kinda cool to be banned from a casino.

The book is pretty fascinating. One of the casino guys we deal with here at work was asked if the story was true or just some fantasy dreamed up by the author. He confirmed that the story is totally true and that "we all (casino security people) know who they are..."

Jay, we should see if we can get you into Circus Circus just to see how they'll react!!

My picture is when I was 21 years old and about 20 lbs ago. They wouldn't know or be looking for me.
