Wow, there are some pretty amazing posts in this thread. I didn't realise that there were so many people who didn't even know what stats were, let alone how to use them. I can understand now why some people can ignore stats and say that their "gut feeling" is a better guide. Trying to teach people what stats are is way beyond my patience.
