I decided to play an hour just now. Gonna play later tonite, so I thought I'd sneak in a quick session. I won't post hh's and face the wrath of Orange, but there were two oddities that happened right after each other not long into my session.

I got AI PF with KK. Villian had KK too. I lose to a flush. That, to me, is sooooo exasperating to lose that way.

Then at another table a minute later, some guy decides to push 220bb's preflop with KK. I cover and call with AA and it holds. I suppose we would have gotten all in anyway, it was just a weird/huge push from him over my 3b.

AJ I was drunk in vegas and open shoving AA/KK pf and shoved KK w/ a huge stack and some kid gets really excited 'did he say all in?!?!?!' and calls w/ AA and I flop a K. solid.

aj,
sucks you lost that KK hand.

glad to hear you won that AA hand. your summarization is much better than reading another HH. [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

any 100nl players want to share their lifetime ptbb/100 rate and site?

[/ QUOTE ]

i think i was around 7ptbb/100 at party over 100K hands or so

[/ QUOTE ]
You up at Party 200nl now? Any major difference other than more 3-betting?

[/ QUOTE ]

yeh, abit harder to bluff/get value from hands aswell. like at .5/1 its so easy to get ur sets paid off, but its abit harder at 1/2 coz ppl can actually fold overpairs.

[/ QUOTE ]

the transition from 100NL to 200NL was probably the easiest ever for me, i felt so comfortable immediately but i think its because i didnt table select at 100NL(joined largest pot that was 5/6) but at 200NL i datamine 30mins or so before i pick my tables then i get on the waiting list.

I dont even get 3bet all that often so i can just dump when a nit does it. One [censored] though 4bet me with JJ and called my push with AQ, i hate him forever.

One problem im having this week(when i say problem im not bitching just commenting, variance and such) is getting my 3bets called by hands like 34o, A2o, KJo, and these guys flopping miracles(table selection again). But the same guys suck so i eventually get a stack or more from them after they stack me.

cliff notes
moral of the story, plenty of donks at 200NL and if you find enough donks any level will be easy as long as the money doesnt unnerve you.

For people playing on stars, mainly 200nl but i guess it might happen at 100nl, how often does this happen to you:

You raise to $8 (4bb) from somewhere, and one of the blinds who usually has a PFR less than 10 reraises to $18 (always this amount). You call being priced in and having position, and they ALWAYS check the flop to you, and if it goes to showdown they ALWAYS have a monster.

Its so strange, for some reason when i get repopped to $18 and call they always check the flop... was wondering it that only happens to me or everyone?

[/ QUOTE ]

I love when nits repop me small, it makes the hand play so easy. if you can beat AA after the flop you have the nuts, if you cant, check/fold. thats unless they make a habit of it then you know they are doing it with trash then you can steal the inflated pot.

sorry for the strat i hope thats acceptable mr orange sir.

no problem young man. (the irony of a 20 year old calling someone who is most likely older 'young' is funny).

dude built a roll up to around $500k, goes busto in 9 months or so, quits, reloads, reuilds to £100k and is now attempting to busto again.

variance he plays LHE £200/£400 having skipped all previous limits, after doing some expertness at NL5k and higher.

variance: he wont play NL2k or below if he can help it, cos it doesnt give him the buzz of playing the big game
