Still waiting for the 5 star Bears pick.

[/ QUOTE ]

It's only 1 unit.

[/ QUOTE ]

Aha...reduced due to the "Toast" factor. Its about time you included that element in your spreadsheet.

[/ QUOTE ]

it's been around 56% all week, I was just trying to point out the illogic in your argument.

[/ QUOTE ]

To me its illogical solely to use NFL statistics to handicap a specific game.

[/ QUOTE ]

Well....I don't.

You made the points that Atlanta has a resurgent run D and Bears have no run offense, that Vick's health doesn't matter but then that it does matter, all of which basically eroded your argument for an Atlanta cover. What more else can I say? Btw it's the stat people who've been saying all year that teams like Cleveland will cover, you won't hear that from me.

[/ QUOTE ]

My point was that in making your point that Atlanta's run defense was not improving, you pointed to their yds given up in the last 4 games. My point is that those stats are, by themselves, meaningless without understanding how the games flowed, etc.

lol I'm not disagreeing with that, I'm disagreeing with your assertion that their run D is "resurgent" which you've now taken back (thankfully).

I took that back along time ago -- saying the word I should have used is "improving". Resurgent implies 2 things: 1. that they once were very good and 2. that they are close to being as good now. Neither is true.
