I'm a bit unsure about whether to play 100NL this evening though. Friday nights are so nuts on most sites that you could play well and get raped by idicoy. My roll just isn't big enough to take a horrible night like that. So I think I might donk it up at the 50's tonight.

The most profitable two nights of the week, but also those, where if you are doomswitched, then dropping 10BI is no issue

God dammit son of a b...

K I should have stopped earlier, but hey at least I got some of my money back, and I generated lots of bonus money

So this is my june graph, most of it is 50nl, with some 100nl mixed in (and $110 from party 100nl which doesn't show up) + $300 in bonus money. So I didn't make my 1k, but hey I had some terrible beats in here

Kab, I'm having a similar 100NL day. Was down a BI earlier but have clawed it back and am running pretty well now.

That said, at these stakes I'm missing SO MUCH value because the money does feel bigger and the natural instinct is caution rather than putting in those flop/turn value raises and river value bets. That's pissed me off a bit, but other than that - and the goddam frigging shortstackers - it's really not too bad at all.

And unusually, I actually feel I'm playing my normal 50NL game rather than the FPS-hardass rubbish I typically try to pull whenever I move up.

Lol I feel the same way, I'm going out tonight, and I don't want to go if I just lost $400 so that's why I quit, I could go on but it really affects my mood when I lose that much.

If I'm not going anywhere I don't really care that much though (I'll just grind it out), if that makes any sense . And well I'm not that afraid of putting my money in, making 3bets and what not hence my variance the last 2k hands lol.

brag: i gave two weeks notice today at work
beat: they told me to leave today (no mid month paycheck in july)
brag: i get to play more poker
beat: i need to drop down to 25 so i can play with 45 buyins.

variance: i don't start work until mid august/september and i'd like to continue using poker for income, so i'm going to have to play with a more protected roll and grind out a [censored] of hands over the next week to make the move back to 50. what number do you think is safe for the move, $1750?

Ugh. AA < KK AI Preflop. I can't seem to put together a decent run. I think I've made like $300 in June. Why do I suck?
