so im getting into it with this stupid [censored] 45/3 at my table

i have 76, the board is 7769J, HE HAS 99. WTF. and he check/calls it all the way down.

next hand i have K9 in the BB, board is 99A84, of course he has A9 to stack me twice in the span of about 5 hands.

WHY DO TABLES WITH VPIPS OF 45% ABSOLUTELY CRUSH ME AND WHY HAVE THE LAST 3 FULL HOUSES I HIT LOST????????????

I'm with you on not tilting, I've had similar nights. Everybody has or will. Going out and putting it behind you is perfect, though.

I just know for me, it is never big tilting, it's an expectation of negativity that can throw my game off by even just a little. On a night when the cards are fighting me, that little bit matters alot.

I always think about the scene in the Hustler where Bert explains to Eddie how Fats really beat him...by going into the bathroom, washing his face, cleaning his fingernails, shaving, and mostly just making his mind a blank...fresh and ready to roll. Works for me. Except I'm not a big fingernail cleaner, so I have to find something else.
