Carrot, do you never 4-bet KK pre against a TAG?

[/ QUOTE ]
do you understand poker ? What in the WORLD does that have to do with what I said

[/ QUOTE ]

Oh I wasn't saying "OMG how do you never 4-bet with KK pf!?!" I was just asking you in this specific situation if you prefer to 4-bet KK pf or just call and then raise on the flop. I didn't mean to come off pompous I genuinely was curious as to what you would do in that situation because you are better than me.

ok i folded KK preflop, ill never do it again. we all happy now?

[/ QUOTE ]

It's not that you folded KK preflop, it's more how you did it.

If you think he isn't shoving over your 4 bet with less than KK, then your 4bet makes no sense. The fact of the matter is that people will shove AK/QQ there all the time making your fold a big, big mistake. Do you honestly think he plays AK any differently?

People need to realize that AA vs KK is just a cooler 100bbs deep between two relatively aggressive tags. Flat calling preflop and check raising the flop might be a better line than 4 betting, it's player dependant. But just don't fold, period.

lol, sorry for getting on your case, long day and it sounded arrogant <3

In that spot ? Meh, you can do a lot of things, call, 4 bet small, shove, whatever. and tbh, I have no problem with the fold, HOWEVER, in that situation, I think his 4 bet is completely turning his hand into a bluff ...

How is he turning his hand into a bluff if people will shove AK/QQ there all the time?

yeah we just figured it out, we're dumb over here. I thought he figured AK/QQ type hands would shove then folded anyway

if it has to come to that, I guess I'll have to just suck it up and pay taxes. doesn't seem fair though, since I'm not benefitting from any american pleasantries living abroad.

however, it *may* be worth moving overseas simply to be on party.

If you spend >330 days outside of the country you get an exemption (no taxes) on your first $82K made (I'm pretty sure).
