It had a preliminary rating of 31 on Channel 2, which translates into 198,400 households. To put the rating in perspective, Outdoor Life Network (OLN), the National Hockey League's American cable rights holder, averaged 246,000 households nationally for its second-round playoff coverage. The 31 rating is close to what the Bills get for some regular season games.

Already lost Game 4's in white and black...should've worn the red tonight.

Just have to hope Numminen can go for Game 5 I guess - I don't think home ice is a huge deal.

This team is in bad shape without a healthy Teppo. Jillson and Janik are pretty tough to overcome, I believe Jillson has been on for both EV goals tonight.

He needs to find the will somewhere, someway. I still believe.

Sabres haven't looked good so far.

For what it's worth, I'm not a Carolina lover either - I don't like guys like Stillman, Whitney, or Recchi at all. Carolina has looked like [censored] and a lock for the Cup at times in these playoffs - they've used two goalies, their defenders are beatable one on one, and those finesse wingers.

Also WRT ratings - who cares, one, two, OLN may not be widely available in Raleigh. Their building is loud and they do reasonably well with ticket sales - that's all that matters.
