McCarthy and Rose also had the inning wrong for like 2 full innings. They kept calling the 5th the 6th, and the 6th the 7th. Then all of a sudden we entered the 7th inning again.

I love our announcers. When Wagner came in last night, Gary talked about how managers misuse relievers to 'get saves.' Saying how there should be weighted saves, i.e. you come in with the bases loaded and no outs with a 1 run lead you should get more credit than a 3 run lead in the bottom of the ninth. He effectively laid out the 'runs prevented' metric or wxrl that BP came up with even though it's clear he has never read BBTN. He has to be one of the more forward thinking and knowledgable announcers in the game. Also, I love when Glavine pitches. He's the mark of consistency and just a class act. He has been one of the most underrated pitchers of the last few years and it's nice to see him getting his due since the mets are finally good again.

If we lose this one it will be really annoying. Roberts has 22 HR for his career, Maine gives away a run on a Wild pitch..we get unlucky with all those double plays.. can the mets just put up a 7 spot next inning and seal this thing please.
