[/ QUOTE ] There are like 10 pitchers that are career 140 ERA+ pitchers. Pedro, Clemens, Santana, Oswalt and a few hall of famers. Low 140's ERA+ puts you amongst the best of all time.

I wasn't referring to his career ERA+ 2. I never said Peavy isn't awesome. 3. It's much easier to have a high ERA+ these days than in the past.

i loved watching the offense tonight. and not in the eighth either, im talking 1-7 innings when they just make a pitcher work so god damn hard to get an out...it gives me goosebumps watching full count after full count, foul after foul etc.
