I just watched this British poker show called "Football and Poker Legends Cup". There are 16 countries with a football (soccer) legend on each team. Each team plays another team in a 6-handed STT. The country with their player remaining in the end wins it. Now there definitely could be collusion but after watching the first 7 matches, there didn't seem to be any obvious collusion. Teammates would obviously try and stay away from eachother but that's just basic strategy.

Now of course Daniel Negreanu is playing for Canada and Daniel is a whiny bitch. He's bitching about the whole team format (http://www.fullcontactpoker.com/poke...amp;ucat=&). He says the format can never work although the first 7 matches seemed to go pretty well. He also complains that they have t2000 chips even though all the British poker shows have the same format. He even complains about this stuff at the table. I just have to get this off of my chest so I'm writing this. I used to like Daniel but he's extremely annoying and complains about everything. Like he was at Tunica and was bitching about them not having healthy food at the casino (I think Mississippi has the fattest people in the US).

I sort of agree and disagree. First of all, he is right that the format is stupid becuase collusion is a strong possibility. I think I remember him saying it happened before in that tournament (or maybe a similar one).

Anyway, I do agree that he whines a ton. I still think he's a good guy and like seeing him win because of it, but he does come off as being a little annoying sometimes. Take, for instance, on high stakes poker a couple of weeks ago when he was constantly whining about Matusow getting good hands and how he's only lucky and will eventually blow up. He may only be kidding around, but the fact that he wouldn't stop doing it for close to an hour made it painful to watch.

It's weird how these hands bother me way way less than villain hitting a 10 outer or something like that. Also odd is that I've played around 30K hands and have never had a set over set either for or against me.

crazy ass last 24 hours for me. I decided i need to grind my ass off and get out of this rut i am in whether it is running awfull or playing bad or (the most likely) a huge combo of both. so this last day has been me totally riding all the ups and downs of enotional poker at its best. in my last sesh i won AND lost my biggest pot EVAR. also including in this monsterous 24 hours was gettin 2 outtered by QQ 3 times in this span of 24 hours and running god awfull for the first 3/4ths and then awsome the last 4th (minus the last 5 hands). whew. im emotionally exausted. yet tomorow ill b right back to grinding [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] the good news is i think i am running avg right now and feel like i am playing decent again [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
