What do you guys look for in table selection?? I think I suck at table selection, partly because I don't really know anything about it.

I usually just look for a guy I know is a huge donator that has a nice stack in front of him. Usually, there will be a 2nd donator and I'll sit in any seat really, because it doesn't matter if you have position on them or if you have position on the more solid players, because the fact that the donators are donators will make up for any positional disadvantage.

[/ QUOTE ] When I am playing at FT the first thing I look at is stack sizes given the vast amount of shorties that tread those waters. I also check to see whether or not I have stats on a lot of people, and if I do and can get a seat to the left of a big stack or fish I am a happy camper, regardless of position. Have to take what you can get. For the most part when playing at FT, if I can get a table with full stacks and a fish or two I am happy. Gone are the days of easy table selection with 3 or 4 fish with 50+ VPIPs |

The only thing I look for is position on one or two bad players. Passive or agressive don't matter none, just give me folks that see too many flops. When I sit down at tables they generally have a vpip of 38+, but I mine for 10-15 minutes before I play so I'll have numbers on everybody.
I usually play 1 out of every 4 I open. |

Table selection and multi-tabling [/ QUOTE ] vn Does PAHud show numbers on tables you're not sitting on at FTP? Some people told me it does, but it never does for me. |

On PS I just join the list of tables with high %player/flop and low hands/hour, stalk some donks that I know will pay off if the situation is right, or join tables that are starting up with high %players/flop. But my most important criteria for unknowns is a stack between 50 and 80bbs

The new FTP update is awesome, they're introducing Mixed Games (Every game in HORSE along with Omaha Hi [I guess they're just gonna put like 3 in a table]), and there are filters for cash games now

I was thinking about this on my way into work, is there a way to write out notes on players in pokertracker and just mass export them to pstars? Or is there a mass export function in ptracker that would allow you to export certain ptracker stats to Pstars notes?
Unfortunately, I still can't get my pokerace hud working properly, still showing wrong stats for people. |
