I went back and compared friday to friday on Pokerstars for the past couple of months and while this past friday was significantly off the previous couple of fridays, it was right in line with all the other fridays.

Not that this means anything, just more information to consider.

rough numbers from previous fridays:
10700
11400
12100
11400
12100
12200
11700
13000
15400
15200
14800
12900 <--01/19

[/ QUOTE ]

Good catch. NH.

Party is making a hell of a comeback. When they pulled out I figured there was a chance they would collapse when they sunk below a critical mass point.

I was thinking that Paradise would die due to not having critical mass anymore - it seems that critical mass is lower than you might think, at least if there're enough regulars.

Stockholm, Jan 19th 2007

In the beginning of February 2007, the following card rooms from the Tain Poker Network will migrate to the iPoker/Playtech poker network: CarlosPoker.com, CBMbet.com, Chilipoker.com, DMHpoker.com, Expekt.com, Gutshotgaming.com, Parimatch.com, Pokerducks.com and Tradesportspoker.com.

The migration of these Tain Poker network operators is a result of the deal in October 2006 to merge the Tain Poker Network and the Tribeca Tables network. The following month, November 2006, Playtech acquired Tribeca Tables Europe Limited with the intention to merge the European facing operators of the Tribeca Tables operators to the iPoker/Playtech Network. The current Tain Poker Network operators will thus migrate directly to the iPoker/Playtech Network.

All available resources in Playtech and Tain are currently working to make this migration as smooth and successful as possible.

With the migration complete, Tain is now able to focus on being the market leading developer of turnkey solutions for the online gambling industry. A new exciting “One Stop Shop” concept for online gambling will be launched by Tain this spring.

Ouch, these dropoffs are pretty bad. I was thinking a lot of the fish would go bust over the weekend and then we'd be in trouble for the coming week. Maybe they just couldn't get any money in on Friday night?

In any case, we need some new payment processors soon before the recreational players lose interest and never bother trying to deposit again.

Bookmaker Ladbrokes (LAD.L) said it had bought up its Scandinavian online gambling partner Sponsio Ltd in a deal which could cost the British firm up to 40 million pounds ($78.94 million).

Edit: Above all, Sniper great work, I always check this spreadsheet, easy to read and great info.

Looking at tonight's peak (around now) to last Monday, the DOJ really did a number on poker so far.

Hope the sites have a plan to fight back.

Honestly I will make phone calls still and write/donate, but I am sick of getting angry to the point of my stomach hurting. If the people making real money don't seem to care too much, then why should I?

Maybe I will get the fire back, but right now I am beat and sick of getting trampled on by our [censored] government.
