Great game.

Chelsea did enough to win but did not impress too much. Drogba's strike was incredible and enough for 3 points on its own thanks to having Cech in goal.

Goalkeeping really settled both games today. Any other week and either the Ronaldo or the Gerrard strike find the net, or both.

I *really* want an avatar of Lehmann saving that Ronaldo shot with his face.

That's been Chelsea's MO this whole season so far. Do enough to win, but do no more. Again they hardly had any chances. Again Shevchenko hasn't looked good at all. And Ballack had an incredibly stupid red card where he stomped on another guy's leg. But Chelsea is now 3rd in the EPL, behind Man U and the Portsmouth juggernaut (Portsmouth still hasn't given up a goal all season).

My congrats to Blackburn for actually winning a [censored] game and not looking like they suck totally.

Lehman's face save was pure luck, but the one he had later on was amazing. I didn't see the Chelsea game, but based on what I have seen from them, Drogba and Terry are carrying that team.

Just finished watching the Arsenal/Man U game.

The Arsenal back four was absolutely superb. Toure, Eboue, Gallas...they were a brick wall, containing Saha and Rooney with ease.

Rooney was horrid. His first touches all day were rough. The theme of much of the second half was Man U gets the ball to Rooney, Rooney blows the first touch, ball back to Arsenal.

Lehmann...what a [censored] save at the end on Solskjaer. Game-saving.

I wouldn't go that far. Offensively, you're right (and Drogba's goal was amazing). But Chelsea's defense has been fairly good so far.
