The line on AC at bet365 was even shorter as was the line on Gold. The shortstacks had higher odds than bluesq though.

He's a good player and all, but let's be honest - he is back in this thing primarily because the deck has hit him hard. I mean AA v. KK between two sizable stacks... flopping a set and having your opponent pay you off.

What does a push accomplish that a 3/4-pot-sized bet doesn't?

i dont know much about the stacks/status of the event, but everyone realizes that gold making the call with 87 might actually be a smart play because:

1. if his two cards are live and there is dead money in the pot, the EV of the play can be close to breakeven

2. if other players know what he is willing to call with, they are not going to be bluffing him, getting other people to think that is sooooo huge.

Nice... at first I didn't realize that Lynch &amp; Prahlad made the same about of money.

So the $2750 I spent on the last-longer is actually a push. Phew.
