Nice start to a session - flopped set loses to a turn over pair set

I'd guess he's talking about FTP. A lot of people have been complaining about the latest FTP being extremely resource intensive for no apparent reason on some machines.

It used to be, but one day for me it was totally normal

Oh, where would you recommend someone who's played (and is a winner at) $1/$2 limit and 10-12% ROI at Star's 16s to start at NL cash, assuming I have 20+ BIs for the 200NL games?

[/ QUOTE ]

5k hands at $25nl
around 20-30k hands at $50nl, and see if you can beat it for a good ptbb/100

after that, just follow the standard moving up lines for $100nl and above. NL cash is so much more postflop, although your ICM push/call/fold ranges PF will help you immensely against shortstacks.

Im sure Gelford will popup in and give some advice aswell, since he's also a former SNG -> cash game player

[/ QUOTE ]

Hehe ... just start at 25NL ... note that chips don't lose value, so you don't have to be nitty and do all those STTF Trained Showdown Monkey lines.

Have fun ..

BTW, Gelf, are you back at $50nl already?

My 7-day cooling off period at party is over... Beware

First I'm gonna watch another episode of heroes (damn that show is awesome). And then its gonna be some hardcore pwnage. Ive been able to spot a few leaks in my game the last couple of days. Mostly it was my PF play (yeah, zomg... My PF game had leaks lol)

haha tell me about it, raising J8s/J9o in CO and taking it down with a cbet is so much more fun/satisfying than early-game sngs

I was done with SNG's the day I was on a 24+2 bubble for a 75 token at FTP, and shoved AA with 8 BB's from the CO and got called by a stack with 8 bb's (average was 7bb at the time) with 57 hearts, and he flopped 577.

PS' buttons take like 2-3 times to click sometimes... and the windows take all the attention from [censored] like IMs / 2p2...

Great show indeed! My pf play from the SB is my biggest leak I guess...As is playing against shortstacks, and not giving donks credit for anything.

Had a hand today, I was holding KK, donk who played almost every hand called my raise, flop comes:

8s Ts 7c I bet, he minraises (he was 80xbb deep). I think for a couple of seconds (he probably has AT or a flush draw or something) and push. Ofcourse I got called, and he showed 9c6s for the straight on the flop...

is there a good site with rb, resizable tables and good traffic at 10nl (besides full tilt)?
Stars fpp programm sucks at 10nl.
