WSEX = RAKE FREE!

It doesn't even matter if they start charging later. This is the start of a rake war. I believe wsex is the most profitable place for me to play right now. The problem is that I can only play 1-2 tables there. Eventually, I believe there will be a site where I can 8 table rake free. Economics dictate it.

Economics may indeed push the rake to zero, if poker is to become dominated by sportsbooks who make extra money from luring poker players over to place sports bets. If that turns out not to work, the sportsbooks still may drive the industry toward a very low rake, since they can outprice the pure poker companies.

Kind of exciting to watch it play out.

God I hate sites with the SB first to act postflop heads up.

I would play 400 NL HU with people (since sometimes it's not running) but I can't play that way.

Also they need to add 600/1k NL, and 5-max NL tables.

Very similar to what happened in the B&M envirement.
Casino's only entertained poker to get punters into their
casino and hopefully some of them would wander off to the table games once in the casino.In Europe not to long ago thats how it was.Now poker is more popular it is different though.

1. I've been disconnected a couple of times today from both of my WPEX tables at the same times...whereas the table I was playing on a different site always maintained connection.


2. I'm not too keen on some of you gus who are so happy about uncensored chat. WPEX is doing this rake-free experiment to bring in new players.

If the new players they bring in are deemed undesireable ot troublemakers (on top of the fact that many will NEVER frequent the sportsbook) then that could play a factor when they discuss whether to continue the promotion or not.

We should recognize that WE are the new guests that they are practically 'inviting' to their games and should behave accordingly.
We should make them GLAD that they have decided to bring all of us in there at the same time.
