QUESTION:
Downloaded the software and then unzipped it.
The V.06 folder is on my desktop and it shows its running but the only .hff files showing up in my folder are ones with the name of the table. Should there be a file for every single hand?
Am I doing something wrong?

Haven't even gotten to the import to PT yet.

[/ QUOTE ]
Every hand played at a certain table gets appended to the same file (with the table's name). One hands per file would get slow eventually I think.

The HHF files are writing perfectly; Juk can't help you with a PT problem, which is what you've got. . . but I can see the problem from your screenshots:

That's where you tell PT where to find your PLAYED hand history files. In the import screen, there's a separate button to configure auto-import for OBSERVED hand history files; that's where you need to add this folder!

TY! I seem to get 2/3 PT questions each day and just wish people would realize all I did was write something to save hand histories, and so long as FPHG is saving them I've done my bit.

I actually use another application called PokerManager to help me, so I'm fairly clueless when it comes to PokerTracker and PokerOffice problems.

Over the next few days I'm gonna add a GUI to FPHG and I'll do my best to setup a fake PokerNow.exe folder for PT to use (but PT Pat seems to change stuff and last time using EmpirePoker.exe broke soon after the method was posted here).

I'm also gonna try to make a FAQ (possibly on a Wiki if I can), so anybody who knows what they are doing when it come to importing into PokerTracker, PokerManager and PokerOffice (and any other use for the HHF's) can help write the FAQ.

Also if possible I'm gonna try to stick the source in a Wiki (or host some form of CVS if it proves to be too hard to Wiki-ize), so the people who have shown interest in modifying FPHG can all work on the same codebase (eg: checkout how well the AHK stuff has worked - we've had 5/6 different people working on some of those scripts).

The only really odd thing I can see is a folder called "EmpirePoker.exe". To make PT work then you can't use EmpirePoker anymore (unless you have an old version of PT), so you need to make this into PokerNow.exe

Also, its shouldn't be a folder, it should be a fake ".exe" in the folder where the .hhf files are getting saved. Try this:

Copy "FreePHG.exe" and rename the copy to be "PokerNow.exe" and it should then be possible to make PT look in this folder.

The zip archive is the same as always - Juk and others have talked about it in this thread.

If you try to open the archive directly from the site where it's hosted, you may or may not get a corruption message.

Make sure to download the file to your local machine before opening it and it will probably work just fine.

juk,

i've been mining SNGs and quite often it seems on the last hand, it catches the 2nd place winner, but stops capturing data before the 1st place winner is listed. (so it'll import that they lost $, with "N/A" for finish) Is there a setting I can change to catch more data after the hand is finished?

Thanks and my apologies if this has been addressed before - quite long thread.

Thanks.

I am a kind of a zipfile expert and I definitly think there is something is wrong with this file, or it may be the server not giving complete permissions to download it( can you download it? and open it? try please.

Which zipfile are you trying to download? (are you trying to download the one from the OP or the one from http://www.jukofyork.com/freephg.htm ). The zpfile in the OP I replaced so it just contains a single text file saying "please goto http://www.jukofyork.com/freephg.htm ". If the zipfile doesn't work, have you tried the RAR file?
