Memo to Brian Cashman: loading up on aging hitters doesn't help in the playoffs. Spend the money on a bullpen please k thx.

[/ QUOTE ]

lolll

memo to foolish fan - great bullpen arms usually aren't available in the offseason, and if they are they want to close.

this is just a sick cooler.

[/ QUOTE ]

Wrong.

[/ QUOTE ]

yeah wow i'd love to hear about all the great bullpen help available this offseason

i'd also like to hear about the last 2 big names the yankees signed to be in the bullpen

the indians show that bullpens come from having a ton of young pitchers, which the yankees will in 1-2 years. their hitting is fine.

Of course the Yankees' hitting is fine. But you can build a bullpen via trades/signing i.e. Red Sox when they won the World Series with Timlin/Embree in middle relief.

Wow, sick bet on the Diamondbacks.

I wish I jumped on the Indians sooner and got the sick early +180.

[/ QUOTE ]

I bet that preseason (Dbacks).

I had/have:

Sabathia vs. Wang +110 (WIN)
Carmona vs. Pettitte +120 (WIN)
Indians win the series +180
Indians sweep the series +1200

OH LAWD LET ME GET THERE ONE TIME

(also have Diamondbacks win the NL Pennant +5000)

[/ QUOTE ]

When did you get Arizona at +5000? I picked them to win the NL Pennant back in March, and I still only got 14/1.

we have a bullpen. it's pretty good.

it has not been the bullpen that's lost these games. it's been garbage hitting and bad starting pitching in game 1. when you get 8 hits in 2 games, you can't expect to win very many of them.

take matsui out in game 3, put in giambi - profit. this series is coming back to cleveland.

and christ kyle, we get it - you're a good sports bettor. terrific.

lol are you kidding me? +1400?

Venetian casino. I got that prior to the two trades for Doug Davis and Randy Johnson.

Yeah, Bodog sucks. I did get 30/1 on the Tribe winning the World Series, though (and I think 14/1 on the AL Pennant).
