We had a few laughs, and then I locked it. I decided to stop any more flaming of OP, and to let strategy permeate the front page.

I think I have found the reason why I cannot break out of being down 100 BB for almost 2.5 month (7.5k hands) now.

BECUASE I CANT WIN HUGE POTS WHERE I AM A 90+% FAVORITE!!!!!

Hero has Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. He raises UTG.
4 COLD CALLERS + BB CALLS
Flops Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Hero checks - becuase he knows UTG+1 likes to bluff. UTG+1 raise. EVERYONE CALLS. Hero thinks about check raising here but figures UTG+1 will bet out turn and he thinks table will call so he decides to wait till turn.

Turn: 10 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Hero checks. UTG+1 bets. UTG+2 raises. Only fish in CO calls becuase he is a fish. Hero check raises. All call

Well UTG+2 has KQ [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and UTG+1 has A2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] so you can guess just what the river is!

FINAL POT: 22.5BB - HERO WAS 96% MOTHERF#%$#%#ING ON THE FLOP

On another table as soon as this hand finishes

Hero is 66 UTG. He calls becuase he knows table is passive
Folded to CO. CO/Button and blinds call.

Flop is K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

SB bets out. BB folds. HERO RAISES BECAUSE HE LEARNED HIS LESSON ABOUT BEING PASSIVE LAST HAND. CO Calls. SB 3-bets. Hero caps. CO calls.

Well damn what do this monkeys have to be leading out, 3-betting and calling cold. Well SB only has 4 BB left in his stack so hes donking off his stack of course and surely CO has a flush draw. NO WAY MAN! Both of these f-ers have K3 with no hearts!!!.

And you can be damn sure the turn and river are a 7 and a 5.

FINAL POT: 18.5BB - HERO WAS 91% MOTHERF#%$#%#ING TO WIN THIS ON THE FLOP

Very next hand on first table. I get 77 and flop a 7. YEAH THIS 7BB POT I WIN!!!!! LUCKY SEVENS MAN!

3 SET IN 3 HANDS AND I AM DOWN - WTF NO WONDER I CANT GET OUT MY GOD FORSAKEN SLUMP.

YEAH I AM PISSED OFF. AND YEAH I LEFT THE TABLE BECUASE I AM NO MOOD TO PLAY ANY POKER, cept maybe Stars .01/.02!!!

AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

So, I've never actually posted a graph before, but I want to brag about this in the final few days of the NC thread. I was having a bugger of a time at 2/4. Just as soon as I had dug myself about 2/3 of the way out of a 300 BB downswing, I started hitting a rocky road again. I foolishly sat down at a 5/10 6 max one night (I think I posted about it earlier in this thread) wanting a change of pace and prepared to lose everything I sat down with. However, I had a good session, and I played solid poker. Afterwards, Nfinity challenged me to take a 50 BB shot at 5/10, ignoring 3/6 altogether and before I had even proved myself a winning player at 2/4. Things looked a little grim at one point, but I pulled out of it thanks to an incredible night at one table where I was playing 3-4 handed with an incredibly loose moran who was addicted to donk on my right, and the rock of ages (seriously, 9/6 at a 3-4 handed table) to my left. After running ridiculously hot for the last few hundred hands, I'm glad I'm here. The sample size is pretty meaningless, but my chances of going bust at this point are fairly small. I'll report back when I've made 250 BB, giving me a right and proper roll (in addition to my 2/4 roll, which, really, was big enough for a 5/10 roll ).

Initially I was pissed at myself for slowplaying this monster but then I realized that I lost just about the absolute minimum I could lose on this hand without folding the river (which I would never do). Villian would've never folded this hand.
