I agree here. Except I think there is a hidden agenda. I think Doc is doing this to make other normally introverted, sexually frustrated, (or virgins), feel like players who could 'tap' anything after reading this post.

When I was in school I was in a somewhat similar situation for a little while. I liked a girl, she played head games with me. I even slept at her place one night (no sex) and she continued to send mixed signals and generally toy with me. One day I just told her that I didn't like the way she treated people in general and me in particular, and I didn't want to see or talk to her again. I went out and got laid by plenty of other girls, haven't exchanged a word with her since, and feel pretty happy about how everything worked out.

Oh, you're not her best friend and she isn't yours either. Trust me.
