if it has to come to that, I guess I'll have to just suck it up and pay taxes. doesn't seem fair though, since I'm not benefitting from any american pleasantries living abroad.

however, it *may* be worth moving overseas simply to be on party.

[/ QUOTE ]

yep you pay taxes when living abroad

and even if you announce your american citizenship they make you pay taxes for the next 10 years.

[censored] hate this country

And the girly drama is a bit too much, even for me

Wait, you seriously folded that?

Sorry man, but that's disgusting. The whole point or 4 betting there is to induce a shove from AK/QQ or some other random hand. If you honestly thought the only hand you're getting action from after 4 betting is AA, I shouldn't have to tell you how bad 4 betting is there.

Folding KK pf is never right.
My God, what kind of a nit do you think I am? I know I'm rerereraising a rereraise, which makes it different, but do u think that's all I push there. The obv line in that spot is to smoothcall and CRAI on any flop.

Yes, I had AA. I actually used that line to throw you off, cuz I wouldn't think you'd think I'd push there when I could easily get you on the flop.

Just because he had AA doesn't mean it was a good fold. It's a terrible fold and you know it.

anyone smart on the subject:

assume i move to europe 18 months from here. will i still be taxed? I'm going to look into this. If I can play party and not pay taxes on poker, gg America, helllooooo partypoker, EPT, and learning new fun languages.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm probably moving back to the UK in a year or so. You'll still have to pay US taxes on your winnings, unless you apply and change your citizenship. Your greatest challenge will be getting a visa into a EU country. ez if ur a refugee but not if you come from the USA. The best option you have is to apply for work in europe out of UGA and play that angle. If you get hired by a company with offices in the EU, they will take care of the visa to get you over. Take heart tho, the work ethic in europe is not what it is here and you'll have a lot of time to do what you want.

[/ QUOTE ]

Where in UK? Are you British?

[/ QUOTE ]

Haha, I should be I guess in a way. I served several years in HM Forces, serving with The Parachute Regiment, and my best friends in the world are there. I have accounts with Lloyds and property there in addition to my friends.

I'll probably end up doing consutling work or just play on party, if I can learn to win a decent amount at NL cash. It doean't really matter unless I decide to live in London, where I'd really like to live, and where I'll need more income than in Yorkshire or out west near Hereford, which is were I'm most likely to settle after my first choice, London, which I love.

What do you think about where I should live, work, etc?
