LOL...I have no interest other than trying to find out if my monet at Full Tilt is safe and also to know whether eric is legit or not. I just have serious doubts that full-tilt can lock out an account without full explaining or giving evidence to prove criminal activity. These guys seem to be able to act like god and be judge, jury and executioners. I would rather play sites where I know my money is safe.

Which Monet do you have, and how does FTP have it?

This is really simple game theory.

You're suggesting that FTP would scam someone out of $14k at a risk of losing all of their players. With all the information available and the fact that places like 2+2 exist, I would say the probability of someone busting FTP for doing this is > .01.

FTP stands to make much more thant 1,400,000 in the near future.

Lets just say for a fact Ericjones did get ripped off by Full Tilt. Is a representative from Full Tilt gonna come on here and say yes we ripped this [censored] off??? I don't think so, they are gonna deny it, give false evidence supporting their case, whatever they need to do to make everybody believe that Full Tilt would never do such a thing. And if they were doing ripping people off for real your right, the proboblity of them ever getting caught is less than .000001%
Simple Game Theory
$1.4 million more is more than $0
I'm not saying they puposely ripped anybody off or anything, but just because a company has a lot of business and stands to make ALOT of $$$$ mean that they won't rip people off, its stupid to believe that

On 9/1 Eric created an account and made a deposit. Over the next 5 days he was the recipient of chip dumping from 7 different accounts , all later confirmed to be involved in credit card fraud . While this chip dumping was going on, he was also playing in legitimate games (and losing the combined fraudulant money). By 9/6 he was broke on this account and was at his current deposit limit, so he created the account he posted about ("rapperson").

Rapperson played for a total of 14 sessions over the span of 4 hours (from about 12:30AM ET until 4:30AM ET on 9/7), against a total of less than 20 players. It looks like rapperson was only chip dumped to from one other player who later turned out to be a credit card fraudster. With this ~$8K in cash he went on to play 25/50 NL, 100/200 NL and 25/50 PLO, this time ending up with the slightly under $14K we're talking about.

[/ QUOTE ]

Geez people, this guy won money off of 7 fraudulent accounts in a matter of a few days (probably only a few hours of actual play). Then created another account and had $8K dumped to it from another fraudulent account. The odds of this happening legitimately are infinitesimal.

[/ QUOTE ]

um no its not. do you work in a business that takes CC over the internet? no? then you have no idea wtf you are talking about. CC fraud happens ALL THE TIME especially on online gambling sites. At the higher limits, where the # of players is small, it is perfectly reasonable that he happened to play against 7 people who committed CC fraud.

The real question here is, was chip dumping involved? If so, then it doesnt MATTER if the people were CC fraudsters, all that matters is that chip dumping was involved. Until we see the HH, its impossible for us to conclude whether or not that really happened. Personally I've VERY skeptical about FT's judgement when it comes to this. They can easily decided in their favor without any reprocusions.

The poll is useless because almost everyone thinks Eric is a sham, but that's not the focus of the thread at this point.

[/ QUOTE ]

Well, it seems he still has some defenders at this stage of the game.

Thats the thing I think Doug and Ftp are full of it. Why would I have 7 people doing fraud have them dump chips to me only to lose it back to regulars. Why don't they post hand historys of who I dumped it to and if they are still playing on the site or not? If they are then their statements are 100% false and they are lying.

lol...yeah ok ok *MONEY* and I have an account with FTP which may not hold a great deal of money, but still it is MY money and if I played against a Credit card fraudster without my knowledge and then my account was frozen and I branded a criminal without being given any proof. I would not be best pleased to say the least... the only reason I sympathise with eric is because I cannot see what else he can do about it. Can You?

you clearly did not understand his post. He is saying, who did he "dump" his money to (the money that he lost), and who are they, clearly it makes no sense for him to get money dumped to him, and then lose it all to REGULAR players, right?

Enough of this soap opera... Time for a poll!

[/ QUOTE ]

It's hard to answer this poll since ericjones has not given us any story whatsoever. Maybe if ericjones would give a story, I could better answer the poll.
