Boz/Ama...I was shocked looking back this morning that I had raised ATo UTG which is 100% a fold for me 100% of the time at 50NL. No exceptions. But I think this perfectly illustrates one of the major faults when you move up - pushing things and playing differently to your normal game. Quite what possessed me to open here I have no idea lol. Fear, probably.
Boz, just to say on the c/r hand, nah, I'm not firing again there. I c/r not for value but for meta, and as the meta move didn't work, I just give it up. I don't really mind the play too much TBH. And at the table the TP2K hand felt too weak to bet again. But thanks for comments. |

June is almost over and the last 10k hands have been like beating my head against a brick wall at breakeven.
8buyin DS during the last 3k of it. 25k hands for the month and at 3bb/100. Too bad it is basically ruined by the last 3k..... Couldnt imagine someone that could 1 table through that many hands and still like this game. |

Totally weird. Played 800 50NL hands today, running a standard ABC 17/14/2. My 3 biggest winning pots were $83, $43 and $23. Simultaneously, my biggest losing pot was $11.
And yet, I ended the session only up $9! Yuk. There must have been as many as 15 ~$7-10 lost pots. Sheesh, that's nasty. |

Meh, I get that a fair bit. You miss a couple cbets, then 3bet and fold postflop a few time... that stuff adds up. Wouldn't worry too much about it.

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] What's going on at NL50 PP?!? I never played in tables this aggressive... [/ QUOTE ] Karp, the Party's over. Move somewhere else. Seriously, there are at least 3 easier sites/networks out there. [/ QUOTE ] 1. Pokerstars 2. Ongame 3. iPoker ? [/ QUOTE ] Something like that, although in fairness I doubt Stars is easier than PP. But Prima, Ongame and iPoker certainly are. Edit to reply to Karp: Yes. It is a no-brainer beyond description. Throw in RB and I don't know why anyone is persevering with PP. [/ QUOTE ] I thought Stars was one of the hardest sites to play on? |

bluff,
click on your name, then show all users posts, then look for your microbrew posts. IIRC your question was not answered. IME $25nl is very nitty at stars, but their table selection tools are quite good so if you use them you should be able to find some decent games. Stars $50nl is tight passive in my experience. if you play $2-$10 stars is the best option of the big sites. |

Villain is the same in all hands - he runs 19/13/2 over several hundred hands, but today he's drunk or something, playing like a complete donk. Are these standard?

wildzer,
most +EV lines on some of these are debatable, but all your actions look +EV to me. |
