[ QUOTE ] Any RainKahn updates from someone with insider information?? [/ QUOTE ] Tightened up a bit. 3.3M and looking good. [/ QUOTE ] He could teach Dario Minieri a thing or two about changing gears, by the sound of it... |

[ QUOTE ]
Hansen Not Afraid To Get His Chips In Gus Hansen, who is currently one of the shorter stack remaining in the field, has gone all in four of the last six hands he's been dealt. He hasn't yet been called, but if he continues at that pace, it may be just a matter of time until someone looks him up. Ummm, odds he has nothing most of time?? How can no one at the table ever have enough to call? [/ QUOTE ] Stu Ungar raised 7 straight times in the 97 tournament without one person trying to "bell the cat." Pros, especially aggressive ones, can be intimidating and collect some easy chips. |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Two pronouncements, the first of which is probably wrong, and the second of which is definitely wrong. [/ QUOTE ] I have personal experience with Harrahs in this matter. I recently chopped a tournament three-ways. I got $25,000 of the $32,000 first place prize and got a W-2G for $32,000. [/ QUOTE ] You are still definitely wrong if you think you are liable for all of the 32k winnings. [/ QUOTE ] Nothing would make me happier. It would save me a couple thousand in taxes. But, the IRS still had $32,000 in income reported to them by Harrahs. [/ QUOTE ] If you have a piece of paper with some signatures on it agreeing to a chop, or a witness statement to that effect, that doesn't matter. |

[ QUOTE ]
Mikkelsen is running away from the field, the lawrence pot was the second big one in the last 30 minutes, they arnt updating they chip counts but he's probably in the 7M range, id assume [/ QUOTE ] Right now they have him at 6.1M and Lee Watkinson in second playe with 4.9M gooooooooo dmmikkel I like his blog and I really wanted to buy a piece of him in the WSOP. Too bad I didn't do it Quote from his blog [ QUOTE ] I am unsure what my edge is in the $5k because I don’t know how many players and how strong field is, but I’m pretty sure my edge in the main event is at least $20k. This should make for an average profit of at least $25k-$30k total or $250-$300 per percent. [/ QUOTE ] |

Have to say Dag Martin is looking extremely good right now. 5 danes in the last 64. Couple of norwegians (Glenne who could have been very dangerous just got knocked out) and I think one swede. Maybe more. Not bad. |
