I think if you read several posts from the past day or two, you'll find that this question has been asked a few times and answered by a couple of cardrooms.

huh? i've read a bunch of hearsay and for only a few cardrooms. not one person here knows what we will see in every florida cardroom until basically july 1 and beyond.

i have played lots at jckc. some of these rooms that will try to spread 6-12 will find out that they cant because you can lose more then 100 in one hand. there is gonna be so much confusion because of this vague law.

the casinos like FIXED LIMIT GAMES such as 2-4 3-6 4-8 etc cuase they know they get the MAX RAKE there and the games too hard to beat. now me i played 12 hrs a day before when i was homeless alot with a $300-1500 bankroll most of the time, and yeah i beat the game all the time. but not for more than like $25-40 a day. (about $1000 a month) spent alot of cheap rooms. but it WASNT the fixed limit games i beat it was spread limit games, such as $1-5 stud and $2-10 holdem. used to hang out in albq NM iowa and places like that willing to offer them limits. i even arrived in FL homeless and near broke with $367 in winter 2003 and ran it up to $1100 at the seminole casinos near ft lauderdale and coconut creek. but u know why i ran that bankroll up so much in such a cheap game?? it was cause i hardly ever tipped a dime, and i slept outdoors all the time and never spent any money on rooms.

i do know this though, winning in LIVE CASH GAMES much easier than winning on stars. my income online last year was only a measly $4717 for playing 12 hours a day. but considering statistics tell me 95% of the people reading this post are losing players, thats not really so bad.

I think everyone would be interested in hearing about your life as a homeless card player. There's a forum on here called OTHER OTHER TOPICS. Start a thread there called "Ask me about being homeless" and you'll get some curious/non-insulting questions.

I currently play in a semi-open illegal bar game. There's much talk about how this new law will make everything legit and that maybe other joints will be opening nearby. I suppose I should plow through the bill to find out but perhaps someone already has? Is bar room and pool hall poker on its way to Florida?

Just for reference, this is a small NL cash game and the rake is 10% no cap. My first pot was raked $20. Yes, the game is beatable.

Also, (I've said this in my previous posts) I am looking to a 3/6 or a 4/8 limit game as a hedge to supplement my bankroll to be used in the NL cash games where I think $20/hr is an attainable number. What does everyone else think?

A good player will make between 10-20 an hour longterm in the Florida cardrooms that offer 1-2 NO LIMIT with a 100 buy-in and 10% rake.

The only public poker where money changes hands that will be legal will be in the parimutuel facilities and the Indian casinos.

Which would you, as players prefer?

1-5 spread limit hold'em
2-5 spread limit hold'em
2-4 limit holdem
2.50 and 5.00 limit hold'em

I'm not convinced spread limit would work due to the extremely high number of retards that live in this state and play poker. Every time I play the game comes to a screeching halt because at least one idiot cannot comprehend the betting structure in a simple 1-2 game. I shudder to think about how often the dealers would have to explain the betting structure in spread limit. Personally I would be totally fine with a 2.5-5 pink chip game but I'm assuming nobody's going to do that.
