Well, I jumped in to defend Pokey, which is probably unnecessary. Pokey is one of the kindest, most thoughtful posters we have, so I get a tad defensive when vitriolic barbs are hurled his way.

So, for that matter, sorry to anyone I've offended and I'm off to bed. 7am tee time.

I restrainted from talking to you in the well, as you and I dont see eye to eye. Odds are, you are a better player than me. You are at 400nl, i cant beat 100nl. But you sir, are a trollish prick. Every post you make give or take is nasty and uncalled for. Why? Cause you feel you are better than us? Better yet, back at you, why the [censored] arent you posting in MSNL? Probably cause they told you to leave with your attitude. Sorry too, we all cant play 100k hands a month. Im sure if myself, daws, pokey, and the civil posters could, we would, and might be at 400nl too, maybe higher.

YH, Pokey meant nothing with his post, and there are nicer ways to say that 80k downswings happen to good players than to call him ignorant and suggest that he thinks he's better than some very good HSNL players. epdaws was right when he said,

I don't care how much of a prick he is, as long as he explains his views (which he always seems to do in his strategy posts), he's cool by me. These boards should have a utilitarian purpose, and his thoughts are insightful. You don't have to like him to benefit from him being here.

i never complained about him being a prick, i just made a smart ass comment that if he thinks 80k downswings dont happen to good players he should go challenge some of the best on this forum who have had such downswings. he basically implied that none of us know what we are doing, which is fine i can take it, but all of his ass pals wanna jump up and cry and whine because i questioned there idol
