go for it. i'll be here for about 12 hours. keep in mind though, i play complete ABC weakish poker. it is very low variance for the most part and i dont end up in very many marginal situations.

I have no idea why but each of the last 4 weekends I have lost between 5-15 buyins, then always make it back plus more during the week... I hate the weekends.

How do you respond to donkbets? At 50NL I usually raise them with ATC and it's hugely profitable cuz donkbets are usually full of [censored].

So how do you typically handle donkbets at 5NL? Raise? Float? Fold?

Example:

You raise AKo from CO, unknown (most likely fish then obv) calls from SB.

Flop (9bb) 78Q two tone

Villain leads for 8bb

What do typical 5NL villains do this with? Does hero typically have any fold equity at all with a raise here?

i've found it seemingly random honestly. sometimes i'll raise and they'll instafold. sometimes i'll raise and they'll tank/fold. sometimes i'll raise and they'll instacall and do it again on the turn. sometimes they check the turn. i have ended up at SD unimproved against bottom pair since some of these guys can NOT fold.

i depend it on my image and previous history with villians. are they constantly check/folding flops to me, now they lead out. i fold. do they always fold to my raises if they donkbet, i raise. against an unknown or in robot mode, i typically fold to a 1/2 PSB or more donkbet if im unimproved. perhaps weak but also low variance and less herioc "i should have won you donkey calling with 34o to make bottom pair" type stuff.

i've put enough money into poker, it is time to earn some now. [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] if everything goes according to plan, i'll never have to deposit again. plus im from the states, screw a bunch of hastle to get money to stars when i have enough to play the drooler limit.

K Ive read alot the brew from late nite till now and I would like to dedicate that graph to Vyse who went to 10NL to rebuild :



In terms of Poker, this is by far my best month ever, even if I made 1.5K less than last month because of the first 1.2K hands. This is where you know if you are a true player or not. You suck up that downswing bitch and rebuild at a lower level (me from 100NL to 50NL, back to 100NL now).

I like to call it Poker Resiliency, and should make a pooh-bah post about it in a couple of months.

Resiliency : Caracteristic number of a material that defines the capacity to absorbs hits. (more or less, im french canadian and did not want to wikipedia it)

Poker related Resiliency : Capacity of absorbing hits and fight on. Every1 has a threshold who would be defined by a caracteristics numbers of hits, etc. Basically the concept is to improve that resiliency and the bigger number you have at resiliency, the better poker player you are. And the longer youll play. And every1 knows that a winning player playing an infinite number of hands, following sound BR plan, will be billionnaire.
