Wow, I really like how Edwards is playing. I don't even think its the fact that they have almost no film to check his tendacies, he is just making good decisions. Not to mention completely fearless in the pocket.

[/ QUOTE ]i think on that 3rd down play where he checked it down to the tight end he missed a completely open wide receiver to the right of the hash marks i think it was lee evans.
To me it just seems like he has been going to too many check downs so far (maybe this is what the dallas D was trying to do), not necessarily bad eventually you will have to take some shots down field you wont get 4 interceptions in the first half of every game.

[/ QUOTE ]Edwards is getting a bit too much love IMO. The praise is more on his poise and seeming awareness, control of the offense. He really looks like he knows what is happening. For a rookie in 2nd start, that is awesome. He isn't lighting the scoreboard up though.

Does Trent Edwards remind anyone of Tom Brady? Not like in skill way or throwing way, but the way their career's started. Both started off with Main QB getting injured, and both have really impressed in their opening games. Mybe he's the next Tom Brady.

Or the next Romo?

Romo is TOUGH

[/ QUOTE ]

Yea, dude has ice in his veins too, he'd never fumble a snap to lose a playoff game.

[/ QUOTE ]

He didn't fumble a snap, he fumbled a kick hold.

I also feel like its Edwards not having a full grasp on the offense and maybe not knowing exactly where the palyers will be on the field. It tends to make a QB more conservative in those situations, so I don't mind the check downs in this type of situation. Like you alluded to, he isn't going deep and possibly avoiding some costly INTs.

No? I'm a Cowboys fan, you're a Bills fan. Seemed like a penalty to me.
