jungle, Given the number of people who claim to have been ripped off by him prior to his reportedly going bust, I wouldn't be surprised by anything Giga did. [/ QUOTE ] Since this is a soap opera anyhow, Can I get some info on that? Giga ripping off people? Giga going bust? |

Anyone else amazed at how TERRIBLY BAD both JJ's and ZeeJustin's 'public apologies' were? I mean think about what your saying before you post it in a public forum for God sakes.
There's no doubt in my mind that these two kids are incredibly bright, but when it comes to "street smarts" they just don't seem to have it. I didn't think anything could be worse than JJ's grandma excuse, but Zeejustin you just proved me wrong sir. |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I guess we'll be seeing a lot more of ZJ at PS? Or will this affect that somehow? I think it actually would be cool if all the top sites had some kind of agreement to cross-ban cheaters, like the casinos do in Vegas. That would turn what is becoming a large disincentive, into a GIGANTIC one. [/ QUOTE ] I've wondered the same thing; if they share banned account names or Ips, etc. I can't imagine making 50k a month then having to go back a real job. [/ QUOTE ]well i think JJprodigys accounts were banned on almost all sites so i wouldnt be surprised if this happened to ZJ. in UB's ToC it says if you have been banned on another site then UB can ban u [/ QUOTE ] I will certainly be curious to see if he gets banned on Stars. I mean, this whole situation could REALLY mess up Zee's poker-career. It's one thing to just get booted off of one site. Go ahead and play on another site. Still though, there are lots of sites out there...so he could play crypto or bodog or whatever other site he chooses that happens to not give him the boot. I expect that Stars will have to look closely at his past results also wouldn't they? But will they boot him even if they don't find anything of similar nature on their site is the question. |

ZJ,
Is the rumor true that you faked the affiliate shutdown email so you get to keep all your affilate money now without paying your players any rakeback? |

Cmon guys.
It's nice and all that multi accounters are being punished, but there is nothing worse than being a snitch. I have alot more respect for someone who uses multiple accounts to maximize EV, than for someone who taddles. |

[ QUOTE ] OK, here's the math on playing 6 accounts in the same tournament, and the chances that two of them will end up on the same table. Let's say that the tournament has 2500 people and that ZeeJustin plays against, on average, 50 people for one tournament entry. In other words, for one account and one entry, he plays against 2% of the entire field. 98% he doesn't play against. Does that sound about right? Let's name his accounts A, B, C, D, E, F. The chances that A and B do NOT play on the same table are 98%. The chances that A and C do not play on the same table are 98%. The chances that both of the events are true is 96% (98% * 98%). so how many different possibilities are there? A vs. B A vs. C A vs. D A vs. E A vs. F B vs. C B vs. D B vs. E B vs. F C vs. D C vs. E C vs. F D vs. E D vs. F E vs. F 15 different possibilities. Each possibility has a 2% chance of happening, and a 98% chance of not happening. .98 ^ 15 = .74. So there is a 74% chance that this will not happen, and a 26% chance that two of his accounts will end up playing against each other at some point. This is all assuming that ZeeJustin would play against 2% of the field, on average. He may be better than that. [/ QUOTE ] Because I suck, what would then be the odds of him seeing himself over the course of 10 MTTs? How likely? [/ QUOTE ] There's a .74 * .74 * .74 chance that he will NOT play against himself in 3 tourneys. That's a 40% chance that he will NOT play against himself, and a 60% chance that he will play against himself. Over 10 tournaments? There's a 5% chance that he will NOT play against himself, and a 95% chance that he will play against himself. |

I wonder if this is all a result of those two hands he posted on STTF a couple days ago were he basically *outed* himself as bernard61? He was trying to drum up support for splitting the STT forum into high and low stakes, by posting a hand for the first time in over a year (from what was said). There's some irony or something there.
