I take Clinton, possibly Jones depending on how you like the Jets.

Sluss, I know Leinart/Cutler are better, wondering whether people think he has more chance of going fantasy robusto relatively compared to Jarrett who I'll likely never use behind Evans/Coles/Glenn/Henderson/Curry.

On Leinart's byeweek Cutler plays Green Bay whilst Leftwich plays Tampa Bay, on Cutler's bye week Leinart plays Carolina while Leftwich plays Houston. I might pick him up just to give me options there.

god I can't decide who to take at #4
Gore scares me for some reason...Addai should be decent but the oline isn't as good. LJ probably goes #3 if Gore doesn't.
Fast Willie has a bum knee.

I dont think Gore is a one year wonder if that's your worry. I would draft him at #4 with no reservations after LT, Alezander, and Johnson. He's the better pick over Addai because of that O-line you mentioned.

Don't count out Shaun Alexander. I think Alexander will be very underrated this year. His o-line came into form by the middle of the year and once he was 100% he looked pretty good. The Seahawks also have a pretty easy run defense schedule.

I think too many people will write him off because of his injury last year.

Borg, Steven Jackson is the #2 back this year.

I'm nervous about picking Alexander because of a combination of that and his age - he's 30 this month and I wouldn't be surprised to see his numbers drop off a fair chunk from last season pro rata. I'd feel safer picking one of Addai, Parker or Rudi before Alexander. Maybe Westbrook/Maroney as well.

My only concern about Gore is TD production if he starts fumbling again, but I am not overly concerned about this. For those scared of the knees, that was years ago and he's had no signs of trouble since entering the NFL. He also recently got an extension, and while this isn't absolutely indicative of health, teams don't usually dish out cash to guys who's knees are a shot away from blowing up.

Gore is a lock there over Shaun. Shaun is already declining.

I'm not ready to concede that yet. He missed a lot of games and thus the pounding he would have taken. Plus all indicationers are he's fully healthy. Ask me again at week 8, after he's had time to get back in football shape.
