>>>>>>Unfortunately, MB listing and its use by Canadians is a iffy thing. Some sites (Pacific, Eurobet, etc.) have it listed yet do not allow Canadians to use it.) I wish I knew why.<<<<<<

May be you can do following experiment at Pacific...

As I've written erlier in this thread, "if you go to "More deposit options" on Deposit Pacific page and then chose country of residence as UK then MB will show up as a deposit option and I think it is possible to use it even being in Canada."

So, a proposition for the experiment:

1. to try deposit via MB at Pacific as described above.

2. if a success, to try cashout via MB after. With the help of a help desk, if MB will not show up as cashout option, which is almost for sure.

I would try myself but dont have MB account yet.

About a week ago I had a long chat with a CS rep there including switching countries around. For a change the CS guy seemed to know what he was talking about (my first chat w/ Pacific, hopefully they all are competent there). He was seriously perplexed that MB wasn't an option for Canadians. He had me take a couple screenshots and send them in. They haven't gotten back to me yet but when they do I'll be sure to post up the results here.

Guess it's about time I followed up anyhoo. Ahh, red tape, gotta love it.

Looks like inability to use MB by Canadians at Pacific is just some kind of oversight in banking or programming Pacific tier.

If that's the case, we need to push them for correction.

nimajneB I am glad you took the time to write in.

Kindly note that Pacific Poker has now updated its systems and as such
we can now accept deposits using Moneybookers from Canada.

Yay! MB for Canadians @ Pacific.

The good thing about Moneybookers is that you can have 5 email addresses on one account.

Super.

But it should read either "Yay! Half of MB for Canadians @ Pacific" or "Yay! MB for Half of Canadians @ Pacific"

Yes, MB is appeared as deposit option but not as cashout one... Who knows why?

Still MB is going to be proper way to deposit for Pacific Showdown Events.

Likely the withdrawl option should appear AFTER you've made a successful deposit. It was the same w/ Neteller. If not, Pacific has been very helpful thus far and I think it likely that MB will be a W/D option as well.
