i guess my post wasn't very clear. i wasn't agreeing with hmm that it was either you or WDC. i was agreeing with him that you are the best to vote for. there are a bunch of different people that may get lynched today and i feel the strongest about you being a wolf. if that isn't good enough reason to vote you, then i don't know what is.

If I ended up lynched with villager showing, worthless would presumably jump up there too. He was my gut instinct choice as a wolf. (And right now, he hopped bandwagons onto the Tokyo vote...and Tokyo might be a villager.)

I switched off to magra because, as I said, magra and worthless both voted for me in a wolf bandwagon like manner, and I'm a villager, and it looked like a magra bandwagon might form. Unfortunately that didn't happen...and the evidence actually is starting to sway me to suspect worthless more.

Haha - I could vote for you instead? I'll go through this again... I am getting NO support at all for the two people I tried to get lynched today. So unless I simply want to throw away my vote, I have four practical choices. I'm not going to vote for luckay or Magra. That leaves you and Tokyo. I was hoping that it wouldn't come down to this, but alas, it has.

I wanted to respond to Our House earlier, but I didn't get a chance until now. He suggested that it certainly isn't beyond me to openly defend a wolf. That is absolutely true. In fact I don't think wolves defend other wolves often enough. For me to choose to do that though, a few things have to be true.

The wolf has to be capable of living for a long time if he doesn't get lynched. - Patton fits this description. He had a bad day, but he might well have faded into the background if he had lived past the first day. This is the same reason I wouldn't defend Bobo for instance. He has most of his WW skills down, but not getting lynched isn't his strong point.

I have to think that I can change people's votes - In the beginning this was true. The thread was slow, but I first defended Patton with plenty of time left. It cannot be true later though. Making a post in response to Zurvan with two minutes left in the day is hopeless and it only makes things worse.

I have to think that I am playing with a group of people who won't necessarily punish me for my defense. - I wouldn't do it in this game because we have a ton of newer players who are much more likely to look at who was right and who was wrong in their conclusions, rather than how they post. I would much rather defend a fellow wolf when Kyro, GTIT, Amp, Traz etc. are playing.

So there are some reasons I might have been a wolf defending Patton, but I wouldn't do it in this game, and if I did, I wouldn't have made that post right before night under any circumstances.

I would defend myself, but I don't particularly know what the accusations are. I believe it stems from the fact that I didn't vote Patton yesterday. Lots of people didn't, but apparently I'm #1. I didn't vote Patton because while he was on my mind list, I am always leery of hopping on a bandwagon during Round 1, since they are almost always wolf driven. So without a strong read, I rarely hop on a bandwagon early on (unless I started it of course). Worthless also says that I "seem off", and "[he] is not playing his usual turbo villager game." Well he is right about one thing. I'm not. I don't do that crazy stuff in long games. I never really have, and probably won't start doing it because it doesn't work. Plus, turbos are like an experimenting ground.
