i'm thinking someone warned him about this. no doubt the producers did not want the chip leader to be praising jeebus in every money-shot/degree all-in moment. since dinner break (if not before), he went from loudly chanting to subtly convulsing.

I think he is definitely playing better poker on a relative scale than anybody else at the table. I am not sure he has radically improved the praying thing, I believe they are now turning his mike done when he is committed in a hand. I would also guess ESPN talked to him about toning it down it at the first break.

The praying stuff sucked, but for 8millon emotions come in to play. Hes calmed down since, and I think hes done very well throughout.
