One of the calls being this, "Mike? Hi. Pat Bowen here. Would you like to be our head coach?"

Second call that screwed the Pats. "I'll trade you Portis for Champ Bailey and 2 early picks."

Holy crap there's a lot of garbage in this thread.

As a Colts fan, I wanted Indy to be the team to unseat the Pats. But Denver played great and NE didn't, so I'll look forward to the matchup on Sunday assuming Peyton & Co. take care of business tomorrow. Should be fun.

Nice run, Pats. Look forward to matching up next year.

lol, yea those 5 turnovers sure had nothing to do with it. although being from cleveland, i can see why you have a thing against the broncos (and probably life in general)

I haven't been this bummed over a football game since the Pats lost the SB to the Packers back in 97. But I guess I'm glad they did make it that far, and, like Bill Bel Devoe, I'm really proud of the teams fight not only all year, but even in this game.

"I'll be rooting for the Hurricanes from here on out. One for the city of every team that remains so their fans can be as miserable as I am", I didn't say it, and don't agree with it, but found it pretty funny.

More ramblin'...
I love Tom Brady (no genuflect, I can't bend because my ass is still sore from getting raped by broncos), but was very insulted with his look at his press conference. He had his suit on, his hair gelled up...
You are the leader of this team, and should be coming out with a [censored] towel and a grimace on. Also, you're not Manny, and nobody wants you smiling after a season ending loss. Knowing his competitive spirit and college/pro playoff record, though, after that press conference I get the feeling he's got a career in either Hollywood or Washington when all is said and done.
I still love the guy though. Alright, fine, *genuflect*.

Hope at least some of my rambling made sense,
Remus

Edit - Someone will probably point out that the pats got raped by themselves and refs, and not in fact the Broncos. I figured "raped by broncos" sounded much funnier, but let's just pretended I was trying to be respectful to their team (which is, in fact, usually pretty good).

i'm a bronco fan...and it was a fun game. questionable pass interference call in the first half...but it would be hard for anyone to say that the broncos weren't the better team. for KB4Z...i'd like you to use this picture as your avatar...

Did you watch the game? Pats were screwed by costly turnovers at key moments. Terrible call on the pass interference but they DEFINITELY could and should have overcome that. Also, I'm assuming call #2 was on the fumble by Champ Bailey. First off, you really couldn't tell whether or not that ball went out of bounds. As much as I wanted it to be Pats ball at the 20, you can't argue with the call. Secondly, TOM BRADY MADE AN ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE THROW. You can't blame the refs for those points. Brady had both hands around his neck in that one.

Congrats go to the Broncos. I don't think they played all that well, to be quite honest, but they were certainly heads and shoulders above my Patriots. I wish them luck in the next round.

classy?

if denver didn't play well...then where does that put the pats performance? denver played well against a good team. the game had bad plays and questionable calls, but it was a great game, fun to watch, and the better team prevailed. not much more to say than that.
