Heading to my local (4 hours away) casino (Sandia) for the holiday weekend, but thought I'd throw one more 'attaboy' out there before the weekend.

I run gud!

Well I finally managed to install my new computer parts, and just like I expected it took me ages to get my pc up and running again.
But now I can't play at party, I installed vista ultimate, and it won't let me click on the check/call/fold/I'm back button, but it's not crashing either.
I send them an email, hoping that it's an easy fix, and playing at everest in the mean time (only got a $300 roll there though )

Having a 500gig hd and a dual core is nice though

jonyy,

You're right I checked PT and I'm down like 300-400bb from just pure spew. Wheres the damn fold button again? Raise/fold, I need to play like this more. Still 4 times I did flop a set against an overpair, all money goes in on flop and he hits 2 outer, no exaggeration.

Its cool, I'm a very stubborn mofo and I will get good at this game and make money from it, I dont caqre how long it takes. I will post my graph when I get unstuck.

[/ QUOTE ]

When I analysed parts of my recent swingament -[ still got lots hands to convert] -in PT I had alot 10$ or thereabouts mini-spewaments where I should have may be folded earlier and generally not called - I think I'm going to reapply PGordon''s raise > fold > call approach for some time as this worked lst time I focused on this.

I still feel this is my biggest leak- those small spewage moments I do.

I've probably played close to 40k hands since the beginning of March (aka the end of my spewiness/tilt). Could be coincidence, maybe not, but I only recall 3 true "coolers" this entire time. set vs set, K hi flush vs A hi flush and runner runner 4 card flush against my set AI on flop.

I really really really hope that you guys are running bad and not spewing, b/c if you combine the two you will see [censored] for results (aka my first 90k hands at NL50). I just don't know what you guys consider running bad or what coolers are???? Personally, since I changed my game, I have hardly experienced variance. Coincidence? Maybe, maybe not, but over 40k hands I have to think that I was contributing to my running bad by playing bad. Hardly ever do I play for my stack anymore and it's almost always when I'm ahead.

Sorry for this huge rant, but mental stability is absolutely critical for survival especially at the micros where people do the dumbest [censored].

Embrace donkeys: this includes fish AND bad TAGs, embrace POT CONTROL, don't worry about beats and I think a lot of you will be better off.

Terrible start in 50NL. I`m playing weak tight, don`t know what`s going on with me. I`m still suffering from post-marchdowswing syndrom....

I was playing so bad at 50NL, that I had to move to 25NL and started 9-tabling playing robot-poker to recover some $ and my confidence.

goals for april:

Be a better Father

fix leaks. Got so many I don`t even know where to start..
stop playing back at everybody thinking they are floating my CB, when they in fact have a real hand.
Beat 50NL for 7bb/100 over 30k hands
stop playing weak tight
value bet more on river
stop 9tabling 25NL and stick to 50NL

my graphs for 2days played in april

50NL

25NL

ok will do, I'll get teh IM sorted too eventually

Actually today I was +/- 1/2 buyin and not really going upwards but then stacked someone for a buyin - ideally I want to get some kind of gently drifting upwards going on when not getting involved in big pots - not sure if this is possible or what but just an idea I've had in my mind for a while.

I got go away in a bit -yo bank holiday so better not get to involved in a discusson now

Have a Good STACKAGE Friday all
