You'll be taxed as long as you remain an American citizen iirc. (You have to renounce your citizenship)(i think)

aj,

Im going home for easter. At school its about 5-5 hours, 300 miles.

At home, its about an hour, 50 miles.

Clayton,

You will still have to pay taxes for 10 years or so.

anyone smart on the subject:

assume i move to europe 18 months from here. will i still be taxed? I'm going to look into this. If I can play party and not pay taxes on poker, gg America, helllooooo partypoker, EPT, and learning new fun languages.

I'm probably moving back to the UK in a year or so. You'll still have to pay US taxes on your winnings, unless you apply and change your citizenship. Your greatest challenge will be getting a visa into a EU country. ez if ur a refugee but not if you come from the USA. The best option you have is to apply for work in europe out of UGA and play that angle. If you get hired by a company with offices in the EU, they will take care of the visa to get you over. Take heart tho, the work ethic in europe is not what it is here and you'll have a lot of time to do what you want.

Well if Clayton wants to return to the US he has to pay taxes. When my friend returns my textbook I can look it up in more detail.

if it has to come to that, I guess I'll have to just suck it up and pay taxes. doesn't seem fair though, since I'm not benefitting from any american pleasantries living abroad.

however, it *may* be worth moving overseas simply to be on party.
