Here is the psych link . It doesn't contain a lot of information but it is just a function of the timing of that event coupled with the rest of the threads that came out. Barring any additional information I'm pretty confident with my call on this situation but I have to give credit to the people who pointed this discordance in the dates a few weeks back, don't remember how it was.

Ok guys, time to chime in. Even I am too disgusted to hold back anymore. I know Vig IRL, I have met his whole family. Mrs. Vig and Baby Vig are very real, so is the cancer. Mike (vig) has some good qualiites for sure, and I do believe he loves his baby very much. However, he has a serious gambling problem which I had noticed from time to time before, but never knew was to this extent.

To add fuel the the fires, about 8 months ago he won 130K, taking first prize in the Party poker sunday million as 'SlonkyDonk'. I celebrated the win with him, went out to buy watches etc. I stayed with him for a few days, as he was gonna stake me to help rebuild my bankroll. I started having suspicions when I looked over and he was 4-tabling 2000 NL without saying a peep (he had been playing 2-4 and 3-6 only previously.)
I can only take this whole fiasco as proof that he blew through all that money, which boggles my mind.

I didn't see him in person after I left his place in tampa, but I know he got a myspace girlfriend and took her on trips, and went gambling etc, quit his job as a dealer. I guess someone can blow through money pretty fasy (spent 10k on watches alone, wonder if he has sold them?). I think he largely hid the amount of money he had won from Sarah, because they were separated. I think he did use the donations to gambool, with plans to make up for it later or what not. Obviously that didn't work out. All I can say is I hope he gets help, he even fooled me with this, and lied to me, and I already knew about some of his tendencies. I just didn't think anything like this was possible.

As Jimmy is aware, I recently cashed out my playing bankroll via check due to the delay with the donations coming out, due to accounts being locked, etc. Basically, I am doing what I can to make sure Sarah has the funds when she needs them.

Thank you very much for your understanding. I just want to be clear to you and Jimmy that the money will be put to good use, has not been squandered, and has not been gambled away. I am not concerned with what the majority of this forum thinks of me, but I am concerned with how I am viewed by the two of you, as you both have been nothing but supportive.

I am afraid that he cares about Jimmy's opinions because he is STILL milking him for money. Would someone "reasonable" please send Jimmy a message that there is conclusive evidence that Vig has scammed us? Thank you.
