Holmes Doubles up Through Friedman
Dustin Holmes moves all-in for $5,500,000 and Prahlad Friedman calls. Holmes shows K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and Friedman shows 10[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]10[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Holmes doubels up to $1,100,000 on the hand. Friedman is down to $1,500,000.

[/ QUOTE ]

Ok, how off are the numbers - pushes for 5.5M but doubles to 1.1M

Has to be a 550k push.... obv.

The all in was for 550k, i think.

[/ QUOTE ]

It had to be. At first I was stunned Friedman put so much in pre-flop with TT. But, Friedman didn't even have $3M.

They're up to $494,000. Next bump in pay is when they move to two tables.

On a board of Jclub6club3club10heart, Doug Kim moves all-in for his last $925,000. Jamie Gold calls and shows 9heart8heart for a open-ended straight draw.

lol

[/ QUOTE ]

He has a ridiculous number of chips. It's not a +EVc move but he has the chips to make the gamble with against a short stack.
