4 handed 75 UTG limps, Crazy Mike calls in sb, I raise AdKd, both call.

Flop 238r
Crazy Mike c/r I call

Turn 5 putting a flush draw possible but not for me
Mike bets I call

River K not the flush draw
He c/c

I say "I missed", he tables J3o. The slowroll is now complete as I table my hand and win the pot.

This is payback for the following hand we played in our last session:
CO limps 4 handed Omaha Hi 75/150, I raise TJKA double sooted on the button, blinds calls. Crazy Mike is SB.

Flop Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Check to me I bet, Mike c/r fold to me I call.

Turn: Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Mike checks and I decide my best option on this ugly card is to bet turn and check river. Mike gives a speech about whether his hand is good here or not.

River: random blank
Mike checks, I check and say "I can beat jack eight". Mike says "I have jack eight". I table my hand. Mike waits a moment to table J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]XX

60 at Bellagio, limp limp limp raise. Button and raiser(co) are jawing the whole time and co says "we playing gambling game here!" and grabs six of buttons chips and puts them in the pot. Folks call.

Flop KdKx5d, HJ bets, button looks and raises. One of the early limpers had a 5 and paid off button's AK the whole way :-D

Same 75 game. Crazy Mike is UTG 4 handed and talking to a floor guy so when he gets dealt his cards he just limps blind.

After the flop Mike looks at his hand and I'm bored so I look too. Naturally he has AA. However the flop is not really that safe as it's 345 with a couple hearts and he has no heart. Worry not though, the turn is the Ace of hearts and the river another 5 so he makes a full house to beat sb who had a 5.

I can say that this hand was really completely standard for what I've seen from Crazy Mike and I wasn't particularly surprised with the result. He was running bad in this session, which explains why he had to turn the set and river the boat instead of just flopping it like normal.

I defintely get your point but ...

Speaking only for myself - the various I'm running bad posts have been really helpful. You don't get to hear it much in these forums. To know its not all sunny skies and massive wins all the time for otherwise good players was a real boost.

In LC threads it's def. fine to discuss goals and how you are running. You don't have to read it if you dont want to.

I think Im done posting about running bad or running good in this thread, bc Im convinced its a jinx. My new way of dealing with running bad is too accuse fish who are running good of cheating.

I shouldn't play 9/18. Too many semibluff 4bets and river bluff raises happen (by me of course).

Annoying hand of the night:

SB completes I check 93 in the BB. Flop KJ4r, he checks, I bet he call. I decide he's got a 4 and that he'll never fold a 4. Turn and river blanks and it gets checked both times and he rolls Q2o ftw.
