I just got my epassporte card and was wanting to try it out at a ATM... You don't have to load the card (like netelle)? I looked through their site's frequently asked questions but there doesn't seem to be any answers about how to load the card... thanks...

I would also like to knwo this...

Epass virtual visa does NOT conform to Visa's automated security check, as I've been told by a merchant.

It will fail the automated check and be refused if the merchant insists on going "deep" enough in the security checks. I have no idea if this applies to Amazon.

Epass suggested to me that the merchant call them to manually verify. I never followed up on that route, however, as the merchant I used refused to do this.

Interesting... thank you.

I purchased a few CDs and a bocce set from Amazon two days ago and that transaction was fine. However, the purchase that's tripping me up is for a TV over $1,000. I wonder if they will actually go "deeper" depending on the amount of the purchase.

Also, I know there are load and cash withdrawal limits but does anyone know if there are limits to purchases w/ the Virtual Visa for merchandise? I looked and can't find any. Thanks in advance.

You don't have to load your ATM card. It comes directly out of your account.

I emailed my front/back information of my 2 debit cards from BOA to Epassporte 2 days ago, and today I find out, that BOTH cards have fraud transactions on them.

Anyone have similar experiences?

I would say no but there aren't many alternatives. I signed up and it took over a month of emails, faxes and retarded email responses before I got my limits raised. Once that happened my first withdrawal request generated an error and did not process. After two weeks I still haven't received an explanation why. When that happened I immediately dumped everything into various poker sites to get it out of Epass. I then made a small withdrawal that did go through. I made another for a larger amount on the 25th but it's still pending.

Their customer service is horrible. Emails are almost never responded to; the ones that are read like they didn't read my original question. Phone calls take at least half an hour to go through and the people I talk to don't sound knowledgeable either. Practically everything turns into a "ticket" that goes into a black hole somewhere and the waiting continues. I'd like to get my limits raised beyond select status ($1K max) but they tell me I have to have a large amount sitting in Epass for this to happen. This makes no sense to me and with all the problems everyone else is having I just don't trust them enough to keep any money in them right now.
