Probably the worst game the sabres have played this playoffs. Defense is in shambles, Fitzpatrick was horrible, Janek didn't even play 5 minutes. Pretty tough to win when you can only trust 4 D-Men. I thought Miller stood on his head for half the game, but then just gave out, which is understandable given the chances he faced all game long. Canes PP was excellent last night, great passing around the top, and then good job by the big men down low (Staal is incredible).

I agree with the shaky offciating, Roy getting tripped, Briere taking the High Stick, and Max getting held back by Ward's stick after he had beaten him cleanly were calls that easily shoulda been made. However Buffalo had some horrible penalties that they took.

It seems to me that since the 1st round, the refs have stopped calling the minor interference that were called all year long, and are crucial to buffalo's success. The little hooks and holds are devastating to buffalo's killer counter attack.

I'm still not that worried about the canes because, that was by far and away buffalo's worst game, and I think it was an anomoly. If it continues to game 3, then we have a problem

They have to be fired up after playing such a [censored] game and returning home. Hopefully we can jump out early and take more than a 1 goal lead. Not taking any stupid penalties would also be a big plus. Let's go Sabres!

Sabres have scored 2 goals and yet are tied 1-1?! wtf? haha
